I haven't seen a bad boetticher/scott western. this one has a light hearted tone that put me off at first but found myself enjoying quite a bit. this plot description is a bit off: buchanan rides alone through california, en route to his home in texas, passing through a town run by the crooked agry brothers, which he has all kinds of trouble leaving.
