Review of Bubba Ho-tep (2002) by Brian F — 19 Nov 2008
Not too bad. Very unique little film. Expected it to be WAY campy and over the top but was actually quite sentimental, sweet, and understated. Bruce Campball actually turns in a low key, brilliant performance here where I expected him to be all melodramatic and over the top (see: other Campball films).
And Ozzie Davis steals the show. He will make you cheer, make you cry, and literally break your heart and help you paste it back together.
