Review of Bubba Ho-tep (2002) by Kevin D — 15 May 2010
Eschews the scatological poetry of Joe Lansdale's story, but director Don Coscarelli has the right touch throughout. Ossie Davis, in the role of an old man who thinks he's John F Kennedy, couldn't command more gravitas if the part had been written by Shakespeare, and this goes a long way to balancing out shenanigans of Campbell's sympathetic yet often hilarious Elvis.
