Review of Bubba Ho-tep (2002) by Cody N — 03 Oct 2010
Just imagine taking the worlds most famous celebrity, Elvis Presley, and putting him into a rest home where he teams up with a black guy who thinks he's JFK to go face to face with a mummy who has been killing off some of the old folks by sucking their souls out of their asses. What do you get? One of the funniest and most original movies I have ever seen.
Bruce Campbell puts on his best performance of his career as the 60 plus year old Elvis. Great soundtrack and a few great thrills. It's funny and sad at parts and leaves a great message for us all.
This movie is a true classic and I highly recommend you see this. The DVD is hard to find but its a true treasure. Bubba Ho-Tep gets a perfect 5 from me!
