Review of Bubba Ho-tep (2002) by Ken S — 09 Apr 2015
Crazy movie, which stars Bruce Campbell as Elvis, who didn't die but switch places with an impersonator and is now living in a nursing home. Also featured is Ossie Davis as Jack, a Man who claims to be JFK (died black by LBJ so no one could find him).
The two men must team up to fight a Mummy who is eating souls from the butts of other patients at the nursing home. You can't say the film isn't original. Not much else like it, and one of the few Mummy horror films to really try something off kilter with the subgenre.
