The genius of Sacha Baron Cohen is that he knows what to expect and rather than bailing out at the moment where people start to get uncomfortable he stays and doesn't leave til absolutely everybody hates him.
His commitment to the character is very impressive (you try finding a terrorist to interview and make look like he is stupid..my borat for ya) It's pure genius and I'm glad he's not an asshole in real life or anything.
