Review of Bruiser (2000) by Greg S — 16 Aug 2009
My instinct was to leave on my Romero rose-colored glasses with this one, but I just couldn't do it. It's not very good. I like the premise, but it wasn't executed all that well. The acting was on the bad side, the narrative was kind of 'meh', and .
.. yeah, well. I love Romero, but I can see why this didn't get theatre distribution. Perhaps my boy needs to stick to the blood and guts of horror and suspense, and give up with involved character development.
