Howcum critics and the Normal People are frequently at odds? True, this was a predictable storyline, but so what? Throw in unpredictable Jim Carrey, drag in veteran "Easy Reader"/Morgan Freeman, and the laughs come quicker than one can say, "God is a mean little kid with a magnifying glass over an anthill.".
Weaving in and out of silliness and pure farce, this movie offers surprising amounts of good advice on love, forgiveness, and spirituality.
