A surprising movie that mixes metaphors of hip-hip and love. Brown Sugar is a good movie that shows how a musi genre can influence your whole life.
The story is revolved around two people as they try to live their busy lives in the midst of a new evolving generation of hip-hop music. Coincidentally the two first met while listening to somebody rapping in the streets when they were children. although cliche at the end of the movie, it puts a nice mix of comedy and drama.
