Review of Brothers of the Head (2006) by Marian K — 27 Jun 2007

This movie had a lot going for it: great concept, great story, great cast. It's one pitfall is unfortunately the most important concept of them all: as the movie ended I was left feeling as if I spent no time with the main characters.

The faux documentary, cinema vérité style was an interesting choice in setting the tone...but the detachment was so great that I was never given the opportunity to care about these poor young men.
