Continuing on my foreign cycle, I saw this french film two nights ago... well I expected from the name to be a standard euro wolf movie... it seemed interesting enough.
Well, it's not bad at all, but is pretty damn weird mixture of genders!, man! You have Werewolf horror, Period french, Drama, suspense, fantasy, with a western feel and Kung-fu! yes... Kung-fu!...and a very unexpected ending!
As distracting as the constant gender change may sound the film still remained interesting and with a fluid enough story arch, tough is a little overlong, it's not boring. It has a great cast and focused performances, It's well written and directed, and the costumes, makeup and FX are in tune.
A good entertaining movie!
