Review of Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) by Hugo G — 25 Oct 2008
For the first half hour of its long running time, Brotherhood of the Wolf is quite brilliant - creepy, grim, stylish and atmospheric. Then it all goes wrong as the plot is buried in mysticism and (oddly) Native american spiritualism, philosophical musings and kung fu.
By the end, it's cartoonish, more of a video game than a decent film.
