Action, martial arts, political intrigue, historical cryptozoological reference, what's not to love? Very loosely based on the true phenomenon of the Beast of Gevaudan so I use it in my literature classes when we do the fairy tales unit as one example of why wolves show up so often in tales.
Vincent Cassel is a fantastic actor!
