Review of Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) by Ross E — 18 Oct 2011
The combination of production value, storytelling, scope of cinema - historical commentary, martial arts, monster scares and era-specific sexuality and era-specific discourse - and above adequate acting - Cassell is always great, and the best Dacascos performance of which I'm aware - makes this a well rounded film in a time when so many films are monotonously distorted.
