Review of Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) by James J — 17 Feb 2012
Starts out facinating, ends up utter crap. The concept is really cool: a couple pros are hired by the king to vanquish a beast in the 18th century. However, as things progress, this becomes more of a chopped up action love story about the goodness of animals and the evils of man.
Which is fine, except the action scenes are terrible. Every single one of them. They're neither fun nor impressive to watch and all the random use of slow-motion for literally EVERY action is just bad filmmaking.
This could be so much cooler.
