Review of Brother Bear (2003) by Hanna R — 19 Aug 2009
I just love this! It's so beautifully made and story is wonderful. Beautiful landscapes, well-made, funny and lovable characters. One of the best Disney's!
Phil Collins's beautiful songs are just right for this (like always :)).
Koda's voice actor is so talented and fits perfectly :).
In finnish the moose are much funnier with they Turku dialect (wonderful real actor brothers, Rasila's, who made the voices!!) than originals so it's pleasure to watch movie with finnish dub.
It's a shame that this is those last films which are hand-drawn. I do miss the beauty of them. And I hope, someday they will go back to this very special way of making something magic and wonderful. Computer animations aren't just the same. It has it's good sides but it still hasn't have the same atmosphere.
In the nutshell: Wonderful movie to children and adults. Laugh and tears.
