Review of Brother Bear (2003) by Erik W — 10 Nov 2014
I cannot believe it took me this long to see this film. I was blown away. The visual storytelling with color and aspect ratio manipulation was stunning. Phoenix as the voice of Kenai was superb, the McKenzie Brot.
.. I mean Moose Brothers were funny, and the story was darker than I thought it would be. Collins' music is fitting (as it was too in "Tarzan") and I found myself happily lost in the Pacific Northwest lore.
All in all, this should be right up there with the other late Disney classics.
