Review of Brooklyn's Finest (2010) by Brendan C — 05 Oct 2010
Gritty and violent, if a little too stock-standard and cliched (especially Hawke's character) police thriller. Gere carries his scenes and Cheadle is in good form as well - plus the vibe is unquestionably gloomy throughout.
If a few of the characters were a little more well-rounded this would have earned a better rating.
