Review of Brooklyn's Finest (2010) by Amy H — 28 Nov 2010
The only thing this film has going for it is the acting with the exception of Ethan Hawke who seems to be playing a junkie in every film he's in, whether the script calls for it or not. He was playing a desperate man and yet he was so thin and sweaty and constantly rubbing his nose, face.
..; what the hell? He didn't come off like a desperate cop but like a man who needed his next fix. Gere, Cheadle and Snipes were all very believable but the plot was predictable. I've seen better versions of this movie before.
