Review of Brooklyn Rules (2007) by Shanna O — 18 Sep 2007
I really wanted to like this movie. it had some really good ideas and points, but still a lot borrowed from movies five times better than this one. freddie prinze jr.? he did alright, but the direction by michael corrente wasn't very good.
that's the one thing that set me off. other than that, jerry ferrara (turtle from "entourage") did a good job, I just like him as a person. scott caan is always good, even though he kind of plays himself.
I don't know what alec baldwin was doing in this movie, but his scenes were the best parts. interesting, but not very good. like I said, needed better direction.
