A drawn out movie about a girl with home sickness. No real plot, conflict, learning experience or appreciation of the era or location. They portray her as a strong character who grows from her experience, but she never makes one decision and doesn't do anything besides what she's been given to do by others.
I found it slow and uninspiring.
