Review of Brooklyn (2015) by Spencer K — 18 Mar 2016

While not as personally affecting as some other films this year, Brooklyn is still a sweet, traditional and simple love story with a fantastic, career defining performance from Saoirse Ronan and a truly great performance by Emory Cohen.

they also had amazing chemistry together and I could actually see them being together in real life. it's a very simple movie and a little cliche at times, but it's still and emotionally resonant, thoughtful and affecting drama.
