Ronan carries this film beautifully. Two days after being immersed in this tale, I'm still wondering about what happened to the characters as a result of Eilis's decision and what kind of lives they ended up having.
Such is the power of the endearing performances of the entire cast. Cohen has a bit of young Andrew McCarthy in him.
