Review of Brooklyn (2015) by Thom P — 19 Sep 2016
After watching this movie for the fifth or sixth time I am convinced this movie captures the spirit and heart of my Irish side of the family and their hardships. Despite the difference in actual timeframe between this story and my family's story it does resonate with the story of an Irish girl falling for a Greek guy.
On top of that the way this movie shows the fear and loneliness an immigrant feels is something I've never seen before.
