Saoirse Ronan and Emory Cohen are exceptional, but Brooklyn remains a simply good movie that should not be Oscar-nominated. It has lovely elements of romance, comedy and sorrow - but is just a nice pop movie.
The real MVP's are all the old Irish women. Hilarious bit parts.
