Review of Brooklyn (2015) by Keith M — 16 Aug 2016
The film has a sense of innocence, romance and tenderness; which makes it worth watching. However, it is s-l-o-w, so one must be prepared for that. And like many films set in earlier eras, the costumes and sets are overdone: the cars are all shiny clean - no dirt, no dings.
The clothing is all perfectly pressed, the sets and wallcoverings immaculate - a little unreal for my tastes.
