Review of Bronson (2009) by Chris W — 04 Sep 2011
I can't really decide what Bronson is. It's either a 90 minute microcosm of Charlie Bronson-- a mishmash of so many ingredients that seem strange and downright sloppy when mixed together-- or simply that: a mishmash of elements that just don't come together in any fashion that makes sense.
Tom Hardy does a servicable job in portraying his sociapath of a role, but the whole of the movie is more a confusing display art than anything really memorable or worth wondering at.
