Review of Bronson (2009) by Daniel S — 17 Jan 2012
I was compelled to see this after watching that other Nicolas Winding Refn film known as "Drive", and I'm beginning to acquire a taste for his style of film-making. This film may have a short running time, but the length seems justified after sitting through it.
How long can you watch a man spend the majority of his adult life raising hell in solitary confinement before it becomes sad and monotone? I think the interesting moments of comedy made this a lot more comfortable than it might not have been.
