Review of Bronson (2009) by Ks G — 28 Aug 2012
"Director Nicolas Winding Refn (last year' Drive) has this unique style of performance of art, amazing use of classic music alone & great character study of human kind of out Stanley Kubrick's book.
This guy has a future in directing. Anyways, Tom Hardy gives a bravura performance as playing the title character and real-life Michael Peterson a.k.a Charles Bronson (the most famous, psychotic & dangerous British prisoner in the UK ever).
""Hardy has become one of my favorite actors and one of the most risk-taking actors in Hollywood today along the lines with Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling & few others. Being compared to Marlon Brando which is a pretty good comparison, Hardy has the chance to be one of the best actors of all-time though too early to say that, he has that ability.
Refn's Bronson is a work of art, an amazing inside look of this insane guy and with another physically and powerful performance from Hardy, this movie succeeds on almost every level.".
