Review of Bronson (2009) by Sean C — 16 Feb 2013
Tom Hardy lives up to the hype I had heard about his performance. "Bronson" is definitely a showcase of his talents. Unfortunately, the movie itself is somewhat of a bore because, frankly, Bronson as depicted here simply doesn't live up to the violence and infamy to which the film alludes.
The story attempts to delve into the personality and psyche behind the criminal, but fails to make him, well, interesting. This is the worst Britain has to offer? Yawn.
