Review of Bronson (2009) by Joel D — 03 Apr 2013
Nicolas Winding Refn proves himself once again a master of the art of visual storytelling, using a sense similar to that of Kubrick to create a stylish, violent, yet wholly pure look at the life of a relentlessly aggressive man and develop such a persons anger and pointless need for action into an artistic metaphor for the search of fame or perhaps the eradication of boredom.
With a performance from Tom Hardy that still remains to be one of his most powerful.
