Review of Bronson (2009) by Anthony I — 24 Jan 2015
Senseless violence, that's all it is. But that is all the story is either, and it's a story that benefits from it's perfected cinematic execution. Tom Hardy is magnificent here. He accurately plays Charlie Bronson, the GG Allen of prisoners.
It's not a movie to watch on a whim. Prepare to be completely discomforted. It follows the tradition of A Clockwork Orange in exercising ultra-violence.
