Review of Bronson (2009) by Tatsuhito K — 21 Apr 2015
A gripping fictional story of a fictional guy based on a real person (confusing, I know). Tom Hardy gives one of the most mesmerizing and ferocious performances of his career as Britain's most violent prisoner in the history.
It's visually impressive (kudos to Nick Refn) and the soundtrack is electrifying. Bronson walks the tight line between comedy and horror, and it pretty much succeeds.
