Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Blake S — 05 Nov 2009
The movie seemed to be like a national lampoon road trip envisioned while on Valium and Viagra, chased down with a martini. it is both ridiculous, coincidental and comical as it is a dry and bleak vision of what things really are like.
It does a good job balancing the two giving the movie less of a clear this is the films mood understanding and a more symbolically and symbolically only realistic feel. I know that this review is just me rambling leaving the reader likely confused either laughing at or feeling pity for my incompetence but thats also how I view the main character.
