Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Je T — 07 Jan 2010
An extremely existential film, but the screenplay is really the killer here. All the characters are one-dimensional and static, and the story plays out in an unbelievably unbelievable manner. The writing is neither comedic nor dramatic enough so it all feels very stuck-in-the-middle and drab.
Additionally, Bill Murray doesn't even feel right in this role. Not recommended.
