Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Paul K — 18 Nov 2008
This may be a road movie that leads to nowhere in particular, there are a whole lot to see along the way if you are in tune with Jarmusch's usual quirky style and sense of humor. By the end of the film, Bill Murray's character is as lonely and confused as ever and not much wiser, but at least he has become somewhat less opaque and a bit more vulnerable.
So yes, predictably, it's the journey, not the destination, that counts.
