Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Daniel G — 03 Mar 2010
It's cool Bill Murray made all his money in the 80s with the goofball comedies, so he can now get involved with projects like this. Jeffrey Wright was great as the neighbor. The odd thing, though, was the driving scenes.
With the cinematography and jazz soundtrack, I'd swear it was inspired by Manos: The Hands of Fate. Just the possibility is hysterical. And I won't even mention the full-frontal and full-rear nudity shots of then 21 year old Alexis Dziena.
