Some elements of the story are implausible, but the acting and dialogue are riveting. Bill Murray displays a serious side as an aging womanizer, while also showing the audience some of the deadpan humor for which he is justifiably well known.
Jessica Lange is wonderful as the "animal communicator" Carmen. Not likely to be everyone's cup oftea, but I enjoyed this film.
