Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Shawn Q — 14 Dec 2009
To me, this is a film about an older man who has had it all but in the end really has nothing to show for it. Murry is perfect for this role. Just like in, "Lost In Translation" he nails down the "been there, done that" accomplished but yet empty older man role.
All the supporting caste is brilliant and the movie is poignant, funny, and sad all at the same time.
