Review of Broken English: Three Songs by Marianne Faithfull (1979) by Tobias S — 07 Dec 2007
Lovely. a great one! cassavetes (zoe) crafted a great script and found a perfect matching cast. yes, on first sight it feels a bit slow and over romantic, but then it developes a language and theme of it's own, and the 'woman desperately seeking love' flic becomes move universal: a woman tries to connect with herself.
posey is a great lead, so is poupaud in supporting. have a glass of red while watching.
