Review of Broken English: Three Songs by Marianne Faithfull (1979) by Pavandeep S — 26 Feb 2008
I feel this is a nice movie, where we see the character, the female, just at a loss, confused and always losing out. It had a very Rohmer feel to it, but the thing was, the scenes at Paris were really odd, they left me feeling that, unlike Rohmer's ending which has a beautiful impact a lot of times and always feel the same for his movies, here, it brought out something else.
Overall, a fascinatingly interesting movie though.
