My favorite Parker Posey performance, perhaps outside of The House of Yes. There is great chemistry onscreen between Poset and and the charismatic male lead Melvil Poupaud who, before now, was unknown to me.
Drea de Matteo also deserves mention. Here she proves that she's a lot more than Adrianna La Cerva, with a more understated role.
This film is just fun to watch. The slight to mighty quirkiness of all Posey's characters is not lost in Broken English. She delivers what her fans love about her.
Look out for this one for sure.
