Review of Broken English (2007) by Audrey J — 13 Jun 2008
A rather aimless film, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it never really surprised me or offered something new that I hadn't seen before. I was anticipating a surprise ending but it played out rather typically.
That aside, I did laugh a few times and there are some interesting scenes in the film (one of my favs is where she meets an older man at a bar in Paris who offers to buy her a drink). Overall it was tepid.
