If this wasn't a Pedro Almodóvar movie, I'd probably give it a slightly higher score. His best movies are so good that I can't justify giving a high score to one that I found to be just okay.

There were still some things I loved about it, especially some of the visuals but the story was, to my taste, needlessly complicated, and just didn't find the movie as a whole that satisfying. Still worth seeing, though, because even a weak Pedro Almodóvar is worth seeing.
