The plot is based on the time honored formula of love lost, love found, betrayal, jealousy and redemption, and at times can get a bit complicated. In addition, the sub-titles go by too quickly making it hard to keep up with the dialog But these are very minor faults considering the great acting and the great story.
Pedro Almodóvar always seems to bring out the best in Penlope Cruz and this movie is no exception.
