Review of Broken Embraces (2009) by Gustavo B — 31 Jan 2010
This is one of those peculiar films by Almodovar. Not so twisted as other he made in the past. Penelope Cruz, great as always. But I think there is so unnecessary subplots, that you can take out.
I think the ending was weak to my point of view. Is a matter of taste.
But on the other hand the story behind the making of the film by Harry Caine and his love to her main actress still intriguing to me.
