BIG SCREEN. Como suele ocurrir con Almodóvar, son excelentes la puesta en escena, el diseño de producción y la cinematografía, así como su ojo para los detalles que matizan el melodrama, pero esta vez el guión, en su necesidad de exponer, hace a la película demasiado larga.
/ As it happens with Almodóvar, the mise en scene, production design and cinematography are excellent, as is his eye for detail and nuances to the melodrama. But this time the script, in its need to expose, leads the film to overlength.
