Why is thirs movie called Broken Embraces? I'm still trying to figure it out. Well, maybe I did not understand the film correctly, but I can tell you this: I like Almodovar's movies. They're very original, especially since he writes all of it scripts.
Broken Embraces is not the exception. Even though I liked the idea, I didn't like any of the dark characters in it (and they're all dark and bizarre). In this film Almodovar exagerates the consequences of jealousy at all levels or, are we all walking into that direction?
