Broken City features many unoriginal concepts in a generic film that lets its talented cast down. Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe are their normal selves, but the script is too low quality to benefit their acting talents.
In all, Broken City is as broken as its title suggests, as it is a formulaic and sloppy mess.
