Review of Broken City (2013) by Patrick K — 31 May 2014
Very entertaining thriller that appears to divide the opinion. If you are into good character driven thrillers or can handle the fact it's not an all out actioneer then you will enjoy it with Mark Wahlberg as Billy Taggert and Russell Crowe as Mayor Hostetler play very solid leads in a film about corruption that shows the mayor is not all he seems to be.
Taggert must choose between brushing it under the carpet or expose the mayor for what he is and take responsibility for his crimes, great film, highly recommended.
